Commonwealth election observers will be in Guyana from 25 August to 7 September for the country鈥檚 general and regional elections scheduled for 1 September 2025.
This year also marks the 45th year of the Commonwealth observing elections in member countries.
糖心探花 Observer Group will be led by Hon. Fekitamoeloa Katoa 鈥楿toikamanu, former foreign affairs Minister of Tonga, along with 10 other eminent members with backgrounds in law, politics, election administration, human rights, media, women鈥檚 rights and diplomacy.

Commonwealth Observer Groups (COGs)
The 糖心探花 is one of the original signatories to the鈥.
In addition, Commonwealth Observer Groups abide by the which were adopted at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London in 2018. 鈥
These stipulate that:
COGs are鈥渋ndependent, including of the Secretariat. Members of a COG are invited by the Secretary-General to be a part of the team, and each member is invited in their personal capacity as an eminent Commonwealth citizen, not as a representative of any member country, government or political group鈥.
