Kamalesh Sharma has condemned the latest terrorist attacks that have claimed many lives in Kenya

Commonwealth Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma has condemned the latest terrorist attacks that have claimed many lives in Kenya. In a statement issued on his behalf by Spokesperson Richard Uku today, the Secretary-General said:

鈥溙切奶交 roundly condemns these reprehensible terrorist attacks.

鈥溙切奶交 stands in solidarity with the government and people of Kenya, a member country that continues to play an active role which is widely appreciated in promoting stability as the foundation for the spread of democracy, development and prosperity in the region.

鈥溙切奶交 recognises the importance of mutual respect, moderation and religious freedom. And the Commonwealth also recognises that the only effective and durable resolution of differences will come from peaceful means including dialogue.
